They’ve been producing some of the tastiest pizza in the city for more than thirty years in this perfect location. They don’t offer specialty pizzas, as each pizza is essentially a make-your-own. There are numerous toppings to choose from, and they offer a choice of 12″ or 16″. We like the option to make your own, especially as they only use the freshest ingredients that are locally sourced.
Rock’n Pies
We love Rock’nPies for its funky decor and awesome pizza. The walls are studded with amazing Rock memorabilia and murals. The music is a great collection of popular tunes, and there are numerous TVs. With such inventive decor, you expect a lot from the pizza, and it certainly meets those expectations. They have six signature pizzas and a choice of sizes ranging from 12″ to 20″.
Our favorite is the purple haze, with burrata cheese, mushrooms, arugula, and white sauce drizzled with truffle oil. If you prefer a more meaty pizza, their appetite for destruction includes sausage, pepperoni, and bacon with a balsamic reduction. It’s delicious! Earth Wind & Flour
This pizzeria has been a part of our community since 1981. It was founded to provide tasty California Italian food, and it’s certainly lived up to that promise. The owner, Dennis Klempner, has over fifty years of experience as a chef. The vibe is laid back and casual, which makes it a perfect venue for almost every occasion.
There are nine signature pizzas on their menu, all available in 10″ or 14″. We love the pizza Altobello, with extra thin crust, mushrooms, cilantro, basil, white cheddar, parmesan, eggplant, and heaps of mozzarella. Try their fine pizza by visiting 2222 Wilshire Boulevard, Santa Monica.
